Presenters Bio: Rosemary is a therapist, trainer and group facilitator with over 20yrs experience. She is a Registered Supervisor and Clinical member of AAFT (Australian Association of Family Therapy) and holds registration with The Psychotherapy & Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). Rosemary is in private practice based in Perth, Western Australia and has delivered numerous workshops in WA and overseas. Rosemary aims to share her knowledge in a relaxed, informative way that holds an intention of promoting the development of a more confident and encouraged therapist, who is willing to explore a deepening of his/her own creative energy in the therapeutic setting.

Workshop Outline: The focus of this workshop is experiential, with a theoretical component that will draw on Systems Theory, Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFST) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

Therapists can learn how to:
• Identify negative patterns of interaction and how they are maintained
• Manage heightened emotional reactivity
• Identify and work with resistance
• Identify and assist couples to work with the influence of early attachment styles
• Recognise boundary issues (including risk of therapist triangulation)
• Engage in self-care

Training Level: This workshop is open to clinicians and students from all therapeutic backgrounds.

CPD certificates will be emailed to participants after attendance at the Workshop.
